We’re heading to Lewis & Harris for five days of white sandy beaches, turquoise water, wild Atlantic scenery, tiny villages, ancient stone circles and some absolutely incredible road trips.

And with just 10 guests, this is going to be a proper little small-group adventure.

The adventure starts in Glasgow

We’ll collect you from Glasgow Airport and head north through the Highlands to Ullapool, where we’ll board the ferry across to Stornoway. ⛴️

And keep your eyes on the water! 🐬🐬🐬

Dolphins are often spotted around the ferry, swimming alongside and sometimes leaping through the water in front of the boat – so the adventure can start before we’ve even reached the islands.

We’ve booked two lovely townhouses right in central Stornoway for all four nights. 

That means no packing up every morning. Unpack, make yourself at home and head out in the evening for a wander around town, dinner or a drink.

Then each morning we’ll jump in the minibus and head off to explore somewhere new.

If you’ve never seen the beaches of Harris before, prepare to question whether you’re actually still in Scotland.

Think huge stretches of soft white sand, crystal-clear turquoise water, mountains, rugged coastline and miles of open landscape.

We’ll be exploring places including:

• Luskentyre and the incredible white sandy beaches of Harris
• Callanish Standing Stones
• Gearrannan Blackhouse Village
• The wild northern coastline
• Butt of Lewis
• Stornoway and its harbour
• Beautiful villages and viewpoints
• Plenty of places we discover along the way
• Look out for whales, Dolphins, Otters, Red Deer, Golden Eagles and an abundance of birdies! 

And if we spot somewhere gorgeous while we’re driving?

We stop.

This isn’t about racing from attraction to attraction. There’ll be time to wander along the beaches, take photos, grab something to eat and actually enjoy being there.
